Emotion Regulation

We are emotional beings and we experience many different emotions daily. We may feel happy, sad, angry, frustrated, irritable, excited, surprised, agitated, worried, anxious or any other emotion available to be felt. 

Sometimes we can recognise what we are feeling, sometimes we can’t; sometimes we know what to do to manage our feelings so that we can still do what we need or want to, sometimes we can’t; sometimes we feel good about how we can regulate our emotions, sometimes we don’t. 

We can help people to explore and learn more about their emotions and develop new skills and strategies to regulate these emotions so that their engagement in life is optimal.
