My Aged Care
My Aged Care
Support for your mental health, everyday activities and life at home as your needs change.
We consider the connection between you, your occupations and your environment, including your health, routines, home and the people around you.

What Occupational Therapy Might Support You with
- Mental health and adjustment: working through anxiety, low mood, grief and changes in health, relationships or independence.
- Memory, thinking and dementia: adapting tasks, using reminders and supporting familiar routines and activities with you and those around you.
- Daily activities and home safety: assessing difficulties with showering, dressing, meals and routines, including falls risks and practical changes.
- Equipment and basic home modifications: recommendations such as shower chairs, adapted equipment, reminder aids and grab rails.
- Reablement and changing capacity: developing or maintaining skills, pacing activities and adjusting tasks as your needs change.
Arranging Aged Care Funding
Occupational therapy may be included in your approved Support at Home services. It sits within clinical supports, which do not require a participant contribution. Equipment and home modifications have separate funding arrangements.
OUR THERAPIES works through subcontract arrangements with registered aged care providers. Ask your provider to contact us to arrange services. Availability, approved funding and the service agreement need to be confirmed before appointments begin.
