Workplace & Insurance

When mental health concerns or an injury affect work, their effects can also reach into sleep, routines, relationships and life outside work.

Occupational therapy considers your needs alongside the demands of your activities, workplace and support around you.

Not yet available. We are developing our workplace and insurance funding pathways, including WorkCover. Appointments through these pathways are not yet available at OUR THERAPIES.

What Occupational Therapy Might Support You with

  • Managing work demands: strategies for concentration, planning, emotional regulation and fatigue.
  • Rebuilding participation: identifying barriers and adapting activities, routines or surroundings as part of recovery.
  • Coordinating support: working with your treating team and approved supports, with your consent.

Arranging Funding

Funding arrangements differ between workers compensation and insurance schemes. Ask your claims manager whether occupational therapy is covered and what referral or written approval is required.

Service availability, approved appointments and payment arrangements must be confirmed before treatment begins.
