Service Locations and Hours:

Britt is a Senior Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience working in mental health. She works primarily with adolescents and adults, including people experiencing mental health difficulties, ADHD, autism, executive functioning difficulties and psychosocial disability.

Britt’s work focuses on how mental health, neurodivergence and disability affect everyday functioning. This may include difficulties starting and completing tasks, planning and organising, maintaining routines, managing household responsibilities, coping with sensory demands, completing self-care, participating in work or study, and sustaining the demands of day-to-day life.

Services

Britt is OTA Mental Health Endorsed and is eligible to provide Focussed Psychological Strategies under the Medicare Better Access initiative.

Focussed Psychological Strategies and therapeutic approaches include:

  • Psychoeducation
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • DBT informed skills
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Relaxation, regulation and stress management strategies

Britt takes a practical, collaborative and trauma informed approach. She works with people to understand what is getting in the way of everyday activities and to identify strategies, supports and environmental changes that can make daily life more manageable and sustainable.
